I grew up in the land of sunny Southern California, but have lived in my beautiful Virginia for the past twenty years. I guess after all that time I can call myself a Virginian now.
I love colonial history, writing, cooking, cross-stitching, my golden retrievers, my cat and my son. But not necessarily in that order. 
I started this blog in an effort to simplify my life. I’ve been studying Quaker principles and want to see if I can learn to apply them to my daily life. However, this is NOT a blog about religion. It’s just a record of my journey.
